Description: Generic Yasmin (DROSPIRENONE and ETHINYL ESTRADIOL) is a birth controlpill used to prevent pregnancy. Yasmin differs from other birth controlpills because it contains a progestin hormone called drospirenone. Itdoes not protect against HIV infection (AIDS) and other sexuallytransmitted diseases. The dosage of Yasmin, for the initial cycle oftherapy is one active tablet administered daily from the 1st daythrough the 21st day of the menstrual cycle. Tablets are taken with-outinterruption for 21 days. Then make an interruption for 7 days. After28 days a new course is started the next day.
